Higher education holds the key to its overall success enlightening young minds and invigorating them using their potentials effectively. At OSCC, we have been putting our sincere effort to make higher education accessible and affordable to all beyond the caste, creed, colour and geographical boundary keeping a pace with the global urge. We aim to produce knowledgeable professionals and strive to instill motivation in them for blooming them as active social contributors. Our well qualified and experienced faculty use well designed student friendly modules based on the Jai Narain Vyas University curriculum, aiming to turn their students into cultured individuals with high professional and ethical standards. The college thinks always a step forward for its students apart from occupying the place of pride in the university merit list college as a practice.
The college is proud of with its twenty-first-century outlook and supporting infrastructure to provide a highly participative learning environment both in the curricular and extracurricular learning. The college publishes a literary magazine periodically and for encouraging its budding talents putting their thoughts and views in the writings seizing the time in those.

With my long association with OSCC since I was a student I have been nourishing a dream that is to see this college at a new height every day with all its excellence always. Now, with the blessings of almighty and all my superiors and seniors, as the principal I give priority to see my dream in the reality.
It gives me an immense pleasure to put forth a brief scenario of our College. Onkarmal Somani College of Commerce is one of the prestigious Colleges in Jodhpur District. Our faculty which is highly trained is our greatest asset. They are dedicated to Research and Teaching. We have highly motivated Technical and Administrative staff. Much remains to be accomplished. The faculty of the college is well qualified. More than 15 faculty members are Ph. D. holders, some of others have registered for Ph. D. Almost all faculties are engaged in research activity. The UGC has sanctioned Minor Research Projects. The College encourages the faculty to participate and present research papers in State, National and International level Conferences, Seminars, Workshops. The college always focuses on student-centered activities, extension & social oriented programs and infrastructure and administration. This is where our college steps in to make a difference, beyond instruction and beyond learning horizons.
Over the years, the Institution has built up an impressive infrastructure, which includes a beautiful campus, a well-stocked modern library & state of the art Laboratories. ERP "SmartCampus" symbolizes our commitment towards becoming an efficient student friendly Institution by emphasizing the latest information technology available in a fast growing world. In addition to modern infrastructure facilities such as games & recreation amenities, conveyance and health services are the remarkable features available in the campus.
For the benefit of meritorious and underprivileged students, the College provides a number of Scholarships and Freeships & Library facilities. Apart from the essential services required by the students for learning & development, the services like ATM and Banking facilities through a branch of Union Bank has been made available in the College premises. The College also has a Placement Cell for counseling & providing employment opportunities to graduating students through campus recruitments in the best of national and international organizations.

I am feeling delighted as we have stepped another step forward with a new edition of Rasmi. By the time Rasmi Magazine reaches you our college will complete its 43 glorious years as a leading institution in imparting higher education, especially in the field of commerce.
