A scholarship is a great source for those students who despite having talent and caliber are unable to continue their study and make a name for themselves. The government of Rajasthan of India announces various scholarship schemes and programs for such students.
The Rajasthan Government has this scheme of Samaj Kalyan Vibhag Rajasthan Scholarship to facilitate scholarships to students of various categories i.e. SC/ST/OBC/SBC. This program is regulated by Social Justice & Empowerment Department Government of Rajasthan.

The Government of Rajasthan has announced the Chief Minister Higher Education Scholarship Scheme / Mukhyamantri Ucha Shiksha Chhatravarti Yojna. Students are required to apply through a prescribed format. Salient features of the Scheme are as under

|Objective of the Scheme||Objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the poor and meritorious students belonging to lower income groups to enable them to pursue professional and technical courses.|
|Benefits under the scheme||1. A scholarship of Rs. 500/- per month will be paid to students belonging to lower income group for 10 months in a year i.e maximum of Rs. 5000/- per annum.|
2.The benefit will be available for a period of 5 years provided that the student continues his / her studies for 5 years.
|Who can apply||1. The Student should have secured up to 100000 from the first position in Rajasthan Board Exam of the respective
2.Family income should be below Rs. 250000/-
3.The student should have studied as regular student
4.The student should be a domicile of Rajasthan.
5.student should not be availing any other state or central Scholarship.
6.This Scholarship is only for B.Com. I year Students

The objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of minority community so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education increase their rate of attainment in higher education and enhance their employability.
Post-Matric Scholarship Aspirants must obtain minimum 50% of marks or its equivalent grade in the previous final examination and aspirant parent annual income not above Rs. 2 lakh.
